The Role
What a Project Consultant does
As a Project Consultant you own the delivery experience for a set of GenD clients. You’re the person clients trust to get things done — setting up their environments, configuring their tools, guiding their teams, and making sure projects ship on time and on spec.
This is not a hands-off advisory role. You’ll be inside the platform daily, managing real work — but you’ll also have the authority, tools, and support to do it well.

Project Setup & Onboarding
Configure GenD environments, spin up local/live sites, and onboard new clients to the platform.

Client Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact — set expectations, communicate progress, and resolve blockers fast.

AI Agent Configuration
Build and tune AI workflows, sequences, and chatflows tailored to each client’s business needs.

Project Management
Keep tasks, milestones, and deadlines on track using the GenD PM system and your own process discipline.

Platform Strategy
Advise clients on how to get the most from GenD’s full product suite — from infra to marketing tools.

Contracts & Deliverables
Draft clear scopes, manage contract milestones, and ensure payment events trigger on time.
Requirements
What we’re looking for
Must Have
✓2+ years managing client-facing digital projects
✓Comfortable with WordPress (install, configure, deploy)
✓Strong written and verbal communication in English
✓Self-directed — can manage multiple clients without hand-holding
✓Reliable internet and a professional home working setup
Nice to Have
✦Experience with Docker-based local dev environments
✦Familiarity with AI chat tools or prompt workflows
✦Background in agency ops, web design, or development
✦Experience writing contracts or statements of work
✦Existing network of freelancers, developers, or agencies

Common questions
Is this a full-time employed position?
No — this is a freelance / contractor role. You work on a retainer + performance basis with full flexibility over your schedule.
Do I need technical skills?
WordPress familiarity is important. Deep developer skills are not required — this is a client management and project delivery role, not a coding role.
How many clients would I manage?
Starting out, typically 2–4 clients. As you build confidence with the platform and your systems you can grow your portfolio from there.
Can I bring my existing clients to GenD?
Absolutely — and you’d earn referral commission on every subscription they take out, on top of your consultant retainer.
What does the onboarding look like?
You’ll get full platform access, a guided walkthrough, and a trial project before taking on your first live client. We won’t throw you in the deep end.
