[ Profit Share Token ]

Profit Share Tokens: you decide who shares the profit.

Every web app can create its own Profit Share Token. It is the last step of the money flow: once the smart contracts on a sale have paid your vendors, your sales team and your other contracts, what remains builds the profit pool, and the pool is split between the members who hold your token.

  1. 01A sale is collectedMoney comes in through your payment gateways. With gend.me Payments, each settled payment is written to the gend.me chain record with its fees, commissions and contract payouts.

  3. 03The rest builds the profit poolThe Profit Pipeline shows every step from money collected to the member payout pool: gateway fees, product costs, commissions, expenses, taxes set aside, reserve and reinvestment.
  4. 04Token holders split the poolOn the schedule you choose, each holder receives the pool multiplied by their share of the tokens, paid in DGEN, and the payout is written to the chain record with every recipient.

Details

Name your token, give it an image and a description, and set the circulating supply. Changing the supply scales every balance by the same percentage, so each holder keeps the same share.

Holdings

Every member’s balance and share percentage, with the total in circulation. With 1,000 tokens, every 10 tokens equals a 1% share.

Payouts

Pay out on each sale, weekly, monthly or yearly, on the day you pick. See the next payout date and the snapshot of each one.

A four-step setup creates the token: name it, set the initial circulation, allocate balances to your members and review. You allocate the tokens; the group owner keeps the remainder.

Network Profit Share

Under Re-invest, Network Profit Share shows the points your web app holds in the gend.me network Fund and its share of the total. Points come from the gend.me Payments fee on your sales, at no extra cost to you, from profit you choose to reinvest, and from gend.me network profit. When new points are issued, part of their value is paid to the web apps that already hold points, by their share, as DGEN to the member account you pick. The Fund’s settings are managed by gend.me.

Profit Share Token and Network Profit Share payouts depend on a web app’s own sales, costs and settings. They are not guaranteed.

Common questions.

What do I need to start?

Activate payments and link your web app to its gend.me group. The dashboard then shows that group’s accounts and payments.

Does it replace my payment gateways?

No. Gateways are set up and tested in Store Management. This dashboard shows what they collect and what is paid out.

Is there a fee?

With your own payment accounts, gend.me takes no cut. gend.me Payments is optional and carries its own facilitation fee.

Who gets a share of the profit?

The members who hold your web app’s Profit Share Token. You allocate the tokens, and each payout is split in proportion to the tokens held.

When are token holders paid?

On the schedule you set under Profit Share Token › Payouts: on each sale, weekly, monthly or yearly. Payouts are made in DGEN after the smart contracts on your sales are paid.

Where do commission contracts come from?

From Sales Team. Each contract and its payout history appears under Commissions.

Can I track taxes and other costs?

Yes. Expenses covers costs that are not tied to a specific product, including taxes, and recurring rules create their entries each period.
